If your installation failed from the app and clicking
did not help, then this will help download the backend manually. It's very easy. You're just downloading a file and unzipping it.
First, we need to find out what kind of GPU you have. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to open Task Manager. Then, click on Performance and go down to GPU. If it says NVIDIA, you have an NVIDIA. Otherwise, you probably have an AMD.
Click Here If You Have an NVIDIA Click Here If You Have an AMD
This will download the zip file containing everything you'll need to run Artroom
Once this is down downloading, go to (probably your Downloads folder) and right click and unzip the file.
When this is done, you'll have a file called artroom_backend. Make a folder called artroom and put artroom_backend into it. It should look like this.
You can move this folder wherever you'd like. Now, start up the Artroom app and point to this folder. Note, you want to select the outside folder, not the actual artroom folder itself. For example, if my folder is in C:/Users/myname/Downloads/artroom, I would select C:/Users/myname/Downloads in the Artroom app.
And that's it! If everything went well, your Artroom light should turn Green and you'll be ready to start generating! Make sure you grab yourself a model from https://civitai.com/ and put them into your Model Weights folder (You can control it in Settings and get to it quickly by clicking on the View button next to Models
You can also move this folder wherever you'd like after you install, you'll just have to reselect it again next time you open up Artroom
