# Common Issues and Solutions

### Turn the System off/on

Before trying anything complicated, it's recommended to try the simplest solution first.\
It sounds silly, but it really does work a lot of the time.

### **Debug Mode is disabled.**&#x20;

* When in doubt, go to Settings and try running in Debug mode. This will give you a new window that shows what is going on in the background and can help with troubleshooting.

### **Debugger isn't starting.**

* Please close Artroom, restart as Admin and press the "Update Packages" button in Settings.&#x20;

### **Python not found error.**

* If you're using Windows 7, unfortunately the python version is incompatible.
* If not, it's probably an install error. Please close Artroom, restart as Admin and press the "Update Packages" button in Settings.

### **Model Folder is Empty.**

* You might have checked the "skip model downloading" in install. If so, please download a model. You can choose any and put it anywhere. Make sure to link the folder in Settings.

If this does not work, please try the Reinstall Artroom Backend button in Settings.&#x20;

### **CUDA Out of Memory Error**

* Reduce image size (512x512)
* Reduce speed in Settings (low)
* Use a smaller model (2gb)

### **Clean Reinstall**&#x20;

When all else fails;

* Uninstall Artroom using add/remove program&#x20;
* delete all files in program files/artroom&#x20;
* delete all files in users/username/artroom except models/upscalers&#x20;
* install Artroom, skip model download
