Variation Strength

Used only in img2img

This should be taken as average guidelines. Different models may have different ranges for the variation needed.

Image Variation Strength is only used when doing img2img or inpainting. 0.1-0.2 only does a minor change to your image, can be useful to "patch up" assembled images. 0.5 changes most of the image but you can still recognize the starting image. 0.8 and above makes the starting image disappear.

In this example you can see how more 'noise' gets added onto the image, eventually removing almost all of the original completely. This noise is what allows for more drastic variations.

As you increase Strength you get more noise added to your image.
